To gain “Bulk”, or in other words to get larger muscles, you need a lot of protein. But protein power is not the best source. You need to to eat lots of food that has protein in it, chicken, failure, lean beef, fish, cheese. Eat something with protein every 3 hours or so. You want to get in this area 1 to 1.5 grams of protein for every pound you weigh. If you weighed 100 lbs you’d need 100 to 150 grams of protein daily.

Powder is best to use first thing in the morning as you wake up before breakfast, and also after you work out. Those are really the only 2 times you need protein powder drinks. For that you want “Whey” powder, it’s the fastest to digest. The brand doesn’t really matter, read the ingredients to be sure its not satiated of carbs and sugar.

If you really want to have another protein drink during the day try to get a MRP (meal replacement powder). Those have more vitamins and minerals and are generally better for you. But, dont in fact exchange a meal with it, use it as superfluous protein between meals.

    hope this helps
